The nightlife and entertainment industry in Boise is second only to other major cities in its level of competition. This fierce competition has given rise to many creative marketing programs and products, but none like the Club VIP Pass. This promotional tool was created after much research into the Boise night-life market, resulting in a "best of breed" final product. Other multi-venue passes have been attempted and failed. One main reason is that they offered little or no marketing value to the nightclub venue.
